11.02.2021  13:01

In light of the stabilised COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong, the University has decided to fully resume normal office operations with effect from Thursday 18 February 2021.

While all colleagues are required to attend the office daily on campus during their normal working hours, those who have special needs may discuss with their supervisors about special work arrangements where practicable.

Please wear a surgical mask on campus at all times and observe the latest preventive measures recommended by the University’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee.

Please use the 24-hour Campus Security hotline (2616 8000) to report to the University immediately in the following instances:

-- You are confirmed to have COVID-19;
-- You are required to stay in the “restricted areas” declared by the Government and undergo compulsory COVID-19 testing;
-- You are required to undergo mandatory quarantine;
-- You are or have been in close contact with a person in the last 14 days who is confirmed COVID-19 positive, undergoing mandatory quarantine or taking the COVID-19 virus test as required by the Centre for Health Protection.

Please DO NOT come to the campus if you are involved in any of the above scenarios, or you have any COVID-19 symptoms, or are waiting for COVID-19 test results.

We wish you a happy and healthy Chinese New Year, and let’s continue to stay on high alert and maintain good personal hygiene.
